This role is well suited to an experienced Sales Manager from an Engineering/Technical background

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for supporting new and existing customers by identifying requirements, developing engineered solutions, and driving sustainable sales growth

The Job Youll Do;

  • This is a full time, field-based role covering the UK (mainly England & Wales with occasional trips to Scotland).
  • As Sales Manager, you will manage the full sales lifecycle.
  • Work closely with customers, internal engineering and commercial teams, and external suppliers to deliver technically robust and commercially viable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long term customer relationships through regular site visits and meetings
  • Manage incoming enquiries and identify customer needs to develop tailored solutions
  • Prepare high quality technical proposals, tenders, and commercial quotations
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineering, projects, and service teams, as well as suppliers and contractors
  • Negotiate technical and commercial aspects of projects in line with company objectives
  • Contribute to the achievement of individual and team sales targets and overall business growth

About You;

  • Must have experience working in a Technical Sales role within the Boiler/ Steam / Combustion industry or similar
  • Strong understanding of Steam systems
  • Background working in the engineering / manufacturing sector
  • Proactive, selfmotivated approach with a strong commercial mindset
  • Customerfocused, with the ability to build trusted, longterm partnerships
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal presentation skills
  • Well organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a technical, solutionsled sales environment
  • Familiarity with tendering processes, contracts, and commercial negotiations
  • Ability to interpret technical information and communicate solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders
