The Opportunity
We are pleased to announce the expansion of our Accrington branch with the addition of a new External Sales Representative. This strategic appointment reflects our ongoing growth and commitment to delivering exceptional service to our valued customers.
This role focuses on driving sales performance while maintaining the highest levels of customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a clear strategy to identify and grow key customer accounts, using industry knowledge to build strong, long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new customer relationships while strengthening existing accounts
- Gain a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
- Resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner
- Compile and analyse sales data using CRM systems
- Gather customer feedback and monitor market trends
- Identify and develop key accounts through strategic planning
What Were Looking For
- Strong knowledge or experience of building and timber products
- Previous experience in a sales-driven, customer-focused role
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Target-driven with strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Competent IT skills, including CRM systems
