As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Bid Writer to join the team at Morson Vital, supporting major rail, construction and infrastructure opportunities across the UK.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bid Writer with a strong background in rail, construction or infrastructure to play a key role in securing high-value contracts and framework agreements.

Working as part of a collaborative bid team, you’ll lead the development of compelling, compliant and high-quality tender submissions, translating technical information into persuasive responses that clearly demonstrate value to clients.

You’ll work closely with operational teams, subject matter experts and senior stakeholders, helping to shape bid strategy and drive successful outcomes across a diverse portfolio of opportunities.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Writing and coordinating high-quality bid and tender responses
  • Developing compelling content aligned to client requirements and win themes
  • Translating technical and operational information into clear, engaging submissions
  • Collaborating with SMEs, operational teams and senior stakeholders across the business
  • Ensuring submissions are compliant, accurate and delivered to deadline
  • Supporting bid planning, storyboarding and content development workshops
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and bid library development
  • Managing multiple opportunities simultaneously within a fast-paced environment

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Proven experience in a Bid Writer, Proposal Writer or similar role
  • Previous experience within the rail, construction or wider infrastructure sectors
  • Strong understanding of tendering processes, frameworks and procurement requirements within these industries
  • Ability to confidently manage complex and technical bid content
  • Excellent written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders

Desirable

  • Experience supporting bids for major infrastructure projects or frameworks
  • Knowledge of workforce solutions, engineering services or project delivery environments
  • APMP qualification or willingness to work towards one
