Are you an experienced Facilities Management professional looking to take ownership of a high-profile contract with a leading FM service provider?

We are seeking an Account Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of a hard FM contract in East London. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.

The Role

As Account Manager, you will have full responsibility for contract performance, ensuring service excellence, compliance, and financial success. You’ll lead a team of engineers and supervisors, drive operational standards, and act as the primary point of contact for the client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of the contract with full accountability for performance
  • Manage and develop engineers and supervisors, driving high standards and engagement
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery
  • Oversee contract budgets, costs, and commercial performance
  • Ensure delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities
  • Drive compliance, health & safety, and operational excellence across the account
  • Identify opportunities for service improvements and added value

About You

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, Contract Manager, or similar FM leadership role
  • Strong facilities management background, ideally within hard FM environments
  • Technical qualification or background, preferably electrical
  • Experience leading engineering teams and subcontractors
  • Commercially astute with experience managing budgets and contract performance
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive individual who takes ownership and delivers results
