Job Title: Part-Time Dietary Aide
Location: Tice Valley Post Acute – Walnut Creek, CA
Pay Rate: $19 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time (including weekends/holidays as needed)
Tice Valley Post Acute is seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team on a part‑time basis. In this important role, you’ll help ensure our residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. If you enjoy working with others and want to make a difference in residents’ daily lives, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and tray assembly following dietary guidelines
- Deliver meals and snacks to residents in a timely and friendly manner
- Set up, clean, and maintain dining areas before and after meals
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Support cooks and dietary staff as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and team members
Qualifications
- Previous dietary or food service experience preferred (healthcare experience a plus)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and safety standards
- Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
