ACT Qualified Pharmacy Technician Required

We are seeking an experienced ACT Qualified Pharmacy Technician for a 6 month contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ward-based pharmacy support to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.
• Support the medicines reconciliation process and maintain accurate patient medication records.
• Liaise with pharmacists, nursing staff, and the wider multidisciplinary team to optimise patient care.
• Assist with the supply, ordering, and management of medicines on hospital wards.
• Use hospital systems, including Cerner and JAC, to update and maintain patient and medication information.
• Ensure compliance with NHS policies, medicines management procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete administrative tasks as required.
• Deliver a high standard of patient‑focused care while working in a fast‑paced ward environment.

Essential Requirements

• ACT qualification
• Minimum 2 years’ NHS ward experience
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience using hospital systems such as Cerner and JAC
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
