WHAT YOU WILL DO
Ward 1 is a busy 30 bedded General Older adult rehabilitation ward. You must have a genuine interest in the rehabilitation process and be pro‑active in achieving best outcomes for our patients. Experience in providing care for older people is desirable but not essential. Good communication skills and ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team are essential. You should have excellent communication skills, enthusiasm and ability to provide therapeutic interventions to enhance the rehabilitation process by providing person‑centered goals and individual care for each patient.
REQUIREMENTS
- SVQ3 in Healthcare related subject and/or equivalent knowledge gained in a relevant area through experience
- Experience of working as part of a multi‑disciplinary team
- Understanding of the role of the ward
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Awareness of relevant legislation, policies, standards, best practice statements, guidelines and capability frameworks
- Evidence of personal development and willingness to undertake appropriate training
