Santa Pod Raceway is looking for a new part time Site Crew member to join their events set up team at this busy action-packed motorsport venue. This role includes a strong focus on maintaining the site grounds using commercial mowing equipment and stimmers. This could result in supporting the physical set up of the all the different event layouts e.g. creating fenced or concrete block arenas, using a telehandler, grass cutting and strimming, erecting flags and signage, moving portable offices/buildings into position, ensuring the site and infrastructure is kept clean and tidy, and some basic maintenance/repairs. Must be 18+, hard working and reliable, have a clean driving licence including and be available to work to a pre-agreed rota.
This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated and competent individual to join our experienced outdoor team looking after a large event site. Would suit a local person. The role is part time, ad hoc to begin with but could develop into something more for the right candidate.
The Position will require:
- Ability to work in a team often under pressure to meet tight event turnaround deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Have a good command of the English Language and outdoor experience in a similar environment would be an advantage.
