Role Overview
Join Ipsen’s Maintenance & Reliability team in Wrexham as a Maintenance Technician. You will focus on manufacturing equipment maintenance to ensure machinery operates safely, efficiently, and reliably, supporting production in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment to maximise uptime and performance.
- Diagnose faults and deliver effective troubleshooting solutions to minimise production downtime.
- Support and execute equipment reliability improvements and root‑cause investigations.
- Accurately complete maintenance records and CMMS updates, ensuring “right first time” documentation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and support contractors onsite, ensuring safe and compliant delivery of work.
- Maintain strict adherence to cGMP, EHS, and quality standards, contributing to site KPIs and audit readiness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a maintenance technician role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills on production equipment.
- Multi‑skilled in both electrical and mechanical is preferred.
- Experience with HVAC, aseptic filling lines, autoclaves, and freeze dryers is beneficial.
- Understanding of GMP‑regulated environments and health & safety practices.
Work Hours
4 on/4 off shift pattern – two days and two nights, 6am‑6pm and 6pm‑6am.
