Job Overview

The Event Coordinator is responsible for supporting the end-to-end planning and delivery of events, ensuring seamless execution and a high standard of client service. The role involves managing bookings, coordinating event logistics, liaising with internal teams and stakeholders, and overseeing event operations from setup through to completion.

Contract and Hours

  • Type of contract: Full-time, Permanent
  • Hours: 40 per week (Monday‑Friday; shift rota basis between 8AM and 7PM, with flexibility as per business needs)

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for hosts, bookers and guests, providing a warm welcome and introduction to the venue and its facilities.
  • Maintain a customer‑focused approach, answering enquiries and queries proactively to ensure guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Assist with the coordination and production of assigned meetings and events.
  • Own the planning and delivery of all event aspects, from confirmed booking through to delivery, follow‑up and post‑event reporting.
  • Partner with service providers, including catering, to develop and successfully deliver events.
  • Manage day‑to‑day event activities to ensure seamless execution.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in reservations, event planning or coordination.
  • Proficiency in business administration.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills, able to handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Experience using event management software programmes is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels.
  • Flexibility to work non‑standard hours as required by event schedules.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and high level of attention to detail.
