The Facilities Technicians are responsible for developing, providing and maintaining a high standard of building energy and manufacturing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement planned preventative maintenance.
- Work with approved contractors to arrange site visits for maintenance work.
- Carry out day‑to‑day reactive repair and maintenance tasks across all buildings within competence.
- Raise order requests with approved service suppliers and contractors.
- Pass quotations to the Facilities Manager and, upon approval, to the Facilities Administrator for SAP submission.
- Ensure electronic databases and files are updated with completed work daily.
Skills and Qualifications
- Recognised electrical qualification such as IEE wiring regulations or Part P Electrical Safety.
- Relevant industrial experience gained by providing facility maintenance in a manufacturing workplace.
- Electrical maintenance experience.
- Mechanical maintenance experience (advantageous).
- HVAC experience (advantageous).
- Driving licence required.
