justteachers is pleased to be supporting one of our valued partner primary schools in King’s Lynn in their search for a passionate and committed Key Stage 1 Teacher. This is a full-time position with a start date in July, offered on a one-year maternity contract. The school potentailly could wait for the right person, to start from September.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 1
- Create a stimulating and engaging classroom environment
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress in line with school expectations
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
- Contribute to wider school activities and events
- Uphold and follow the school’s safeguarding policies and procedures
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A creative and engaging teaching style
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
- Two education-based references from within the last two years
