Trainee Teaching Assistant: ALN Support in Secondary Newport

Teaching Personnel is seeking Trainee Teaching Assistants to work in Newport starting September 2026. This role offers hands-on training and the chance to make a difference in students’ lives, particularly those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).

The position involves providing support on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, assisting students with their academic, emotional, and social development while promoting positive behavior in the classroom.
