Role Overview
- Plan and deliver creative, well‑structured lessons aligned with the Primary National Curriculum
- Take responsibility for teaching, planning, and assessment within your class
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Support pupils in their academic progress as well as their personal and social development
- Adapt learning activities to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs
- Track pupil progress and use assessment effectively to inform next stepsPromote high expectations for behaviour, participation, and achievement
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents/carers
- Contribute to the wider ethos and life of the school
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience working within a UK primary school setting
- Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
- Confident classroom practitioner with good behaviour management skills
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Reflective, adaptable, and enthusiastic about improving outcomes for children
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
- ECTs are welcome to apply and will be considered where appropriate
