HGV Driver (CAT C) – Temp-Perm

About the role

Driver Hire Carlisle is recruiting an experienced HGV Driver with a Class 2 CPC licence for a temp-perm role with a well-known catering supplies company in the Cockermouth area.

What we offer

• £16.00-£20.50 PAYE ADV
• Shifts run Monday-Saturday
• 5-6 shifts per week; Saturday is essential
• Starts at 03:00am with potential 12 hour shifts
• Temp-Perm after 12 weeks

Key responsibilities

• Delivery of catering supplies to commercial properties
• Multi-drop role
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork in line with legal requirements
• Adhere to H&S, transport regulations and working time directives
• Represent the company professionally at all times

Experience & qualifications

• Valid Class 2 licence, CPC, and digital card
• Minimum 6 months class 2 experience
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence
• Local delivery knowledge advantageous
