Looking for a hands‑on, varied role at the heart of a vibrant community? We’re looking for a reliable and friendly Caretaker to help keep Hadley Wood Jewish Community running smoothly.
This is a flexible, part‑time opportunity supporting events, maintaining facilities, and ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming environment for members and visitors.
What you’ll do:
- Set up and support community events and functions
- Keep the synagogue clean, tidy and well‑maintained
- Manage opening/closing and site security
- Carry out basic repairs and maintenance
- Provide a helpful, customer‑focused service to all building users
What we’re looking for:
- Practical, hands‑on and able to multi‑task
- Friendly, dependable and proactive
- Strong sense of responsibility for health & safety
- Able to work flexible evenings and weekends
- Be part of a respected London community organisation
- Supportive team and meaningful work
