Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the kitchen team, setting and maintaining the highest standards.
- Deliver a menu that reflects the restaurant and develop specials that reflect seasonality, market quality, and open‑fire cooking techniques.
- Oversee daily operations including service, prep, and kitchen flow.
- Manage supplier relationships and sourcing, ensuring only the best ingredients are used.
- Control kitchen budgets, stock, and GP while maximising quality and consistency.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and compliance at all times.
- Drive training, mentoring, and development of junior chefs.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Head Chef in a busy kitchen.
- A genuine passion for cooking with fire, using the best produce, and bold, ingredient‑led food.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent organisational and financial management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high‑energy, fast‑paced environment while maintaining consistency and precision.
