KS2 Teaching Assistant – 30 hours per week
The Governors wish to appoint an outstanding practitioner who can join our committed and passionate team at William Stockton Primary School. We are looking for a Grade 4 Teaching Assistant to be based mainly within our Key Stage 2 department. You will play a vital role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of our pupils and work closely with the classroom teacher to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities
Support the classroom teacher in everyday teaching and learning activities. Assist pupils in developing academic and personal skills. Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for all children. Communicate effectively with children and families to promote learning and well‑being.
Qualifications
Previous experience of working in a school setting and recent Key Stage 2 experience is desirable. Knowledge of working with SEND children and the ability to adapt the full curriculum to support all pupils will strengthen your application. Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple responsibilities are expected.
