Higher Level Teaching Assistant

The Role:

This is a fantasticopportunity to contribute to our school’s success by supporting the learningand development of students, while gaining valuable HLTA (Higher Level TeachingAssistant) experience. You will be working closely with teachers and otherstaff to deliver effective instruction, manage classroom activities, andprovide individualised support to students.

Key Responsibilities

• Support classroom teaching: Assist teachers with lessonpreparation, delivery, and assessment.
• Manage classroom activities: Ensure a positive and productivelearning environment
• Provide individual support: Offer targeted interventions tostudents with specific needs
• Contribute to the curriculum: Assist with the planning and deliveryof educational activities
• HLTA responsibilities: Opportunity to take on morecomplex tasks and responsibilities as a HLTA, in line with Ballifield’spolicy and with appropriate training and support
