DT Technician (Short-Term) – Immediate Start

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Design & Technology Technician who is DATA trained for an exciting short‑term opportunity. This role is based in a well‑established secondary school in the Wirral area, supporting the DT department during a busy period. The position is available for an immediate start and is expected to run for the next few weeks.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience working as a DT Technician in a school setting
• DATA training is preferred
• Strong organisational skills and ability to support practical lessons
• Availability to start immediately
• DBS needed

The Role

• Supporting DT lessons across the department
• Preparing materials and maintaining equipment
• Ensuring workshop safety standards are upheld
• Assisting teaching staff where required
