Shift: 9:00 am – 4:30 pm.

About the Role

Your focus as an Administrative Assistant will be to support the General Manager and Administrator with administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient management of the home and meet Head Office deadlines on financial procedures and all information returns.

Responsibilities

  • Submit data to enable invoicing by Group Support Centre.
  • Prepare, collate, and dispatch management information to Central Support Office as requested by the General Manager.
  • Place purchase orders with approved suppliers, complying with procedures, maintain appropriate stock levels and controls, and keep expenditure within agreed budget limits.
  • Manage residents’ personal allowance where requested and assist individual residents with financial arrangements.

Requirements

  • Two years of clerical experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and professional telephone manner.

Additional Conditions

This role requires a DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
