Roadside Mechanic – Start your day from home

Bristol

£37,740 OTE £50,00 +

Permanent position – 4 days a week (40 hours total)

Flexible shifts between 7am – 8pm, Monday to Sunday (1 in 4 weekend days) with optional overtime.

Mobile, call‑out role – fully equipped company van provided.

Uniform included – ready to go from day one.

33 days annual leave – including bank holidays.

Premium pension contribution – 14% from employer.

Ideal candidates will live in or around Yeovil, Bristol, Frome or Bath and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers experiencing vehicle issues such as out of fuel, tyre repair/change, or battery replacement.
• Diagnose problems and determine the required repairs.
• Deliver work with excellent customer service and empathy.
• Order parts according to estimates, ensuring timely completion, and return unused parts for credit.
• Adhere to all safety and H&S procedures and standards.
• Maintain full kit on board to help customers return to the road.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on, experienced practical mechanic or vehicle technician with knowledge of a wide range of makes and manufacturers.
• Ability to diagnose and fix mechanical issues with all brands of cars.
• Certification Level 2 minimum in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or mechanics.
