Customer Delivery Driver/Picker

Position summary

Work 25 hours per week (any 5 of 6 days, including bank holidays). Deliver frozen Wiltshire Farm Foods meals, interact with customers and bring sunshine to their doors. Pay: £13.45 per hour plus bonus and company benefits.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner.
• Pick orders within the coldstore.
• Use our app to update customer deliveries.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
• Undertake pre‑shift inspection of your van.
• Drive safely, responsibly and within the law.
• Clean and refuel your van as and when needed.
• Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays.
• Ensure customer confidentiality.
• Help the office team and picking team when required.
• Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.
• Assist the team if another member is absent or on holiday.
• Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet door drops and sheltered housing visits to attract new customers.

Essential qualifications

• Experience within a customer service‑based role.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Basic computer literacy, including use of phone apps.
• Evidence of work stability.
• Basic secondary education.

Desirable qualifications

• Experience in a multi‑drop delivery role.
• Experience in a care‑based role.
• Warehouse experience.
• Health & Safety awareness.

Personal qualities

• Friendly, approachable and reliable.
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
• Good attendance and time‑keeping.

Other requirements

You must have held a UK manual driving licence for at least 2 years. All offers of employment are subject to a driving assessment, driving licence checks and basic DBS checks. As this role involves working with elderly and vulnerable customers, it is exempt from The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a basic DBS Disclosure.
