Consultant in Histopathology *Gold Package £20K lump sum & 1.5 SPA*

Position

Full‑time Consultant Histopathologist – Colchester and Ipswich Hospitals.

Applicants must have completed CCT or equivalent and be registered on the Specialist Register.

Applicants who cannot work full‑time for personal reasons may be considered; any appointment will involve a discussion of job modification with the Trust and consultant colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the departmental rota for routine surgical pathology reporting and dissection.
• Attend MDTs according to rostering and clinical need.
• Participate in the MDT cancer care structure and assume leadership for cell pathology in at least one MDT, based on interests and department needs.
• Refer specialist cases to appropriate referral centres for reporting.
