General Sales Manager Role:
- Lead and oversee a busy sales departmentincluding Sales Executives, the Business Manager, and administrative team members reporting directly to the General Manager
- Manage the team to deliver a seamless sales process while maintaining close customer engagement throughout the vehicle purchase journey
- Ensure adherence to dealership and manufacturer standards, including compliance with FCA and financial regulations
- Set and exceed targets for unit sales, finance penetration, and additional aftermarket products
- Coach, develop, and mentor the sales team, using structured training and performance management to boost individual and team effectiveness
General Sales Manager Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Sales/Business/Transaction Managerwithin a successful car dealership environment
- Full UK driving licence.
- Self-motivated, driven, and passionate about leadership and team success in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
