As part of a strategic growth plan, we are recruiting for a Transport Manager to join a FMCG business in the Lisburn area. This is a key role that will evolve as the company expands, offering long-term career progression for the right candidate. Oversee daily transport operations to ensure on-time, cost-effective deliveries. Manage fleet maintenance, servicing, and compliance with transport legislation. Optimise delivery routes and schedules to improve efficiency and service levels. Lead and develop the transport team, fostering a high-performance culture. Identify and implement cost-saving strategies through carrier consolidation and contract negotiation. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in transport management, logistics, or fleet operations (FMCG, food manufacturing, or distribution preferred). CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) in Transport Management (Essential). Strong knowledge of transport compliance, regulations, and health & safety standards. Leadership experience in managing driver teams and logistics staff. Proficiency in Transport Management Systems (TMS) and fleet tracking software.
