Reporting to senior management, you'll work closely with operational teams and managers, regularly visiting sites to help embed a positive safety culture. About you Previous experience in a Health & Safety role within construction, engineering, manufacturing, industrial or scrap metal environments Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practice Experience preparing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) Experience conducting site inspections and audits Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage employees at all levels Ability to deliver Toolbox Talks and safety briefings Strong administration and report-writing skills Full UK driving licence Nice to Have Skills NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) IOSH qualification Experience within scrap metal recycling, engineering, construction or heavy industry Experience investigating accidents and near misses Working knowledge of ISO management systems Preferred Education and Experience Preferred: NEBOSH (General) / IOSH qualification(s) Relevant Health & Safety experience across one or more of the following environments: construction, engineering, industrial, manufacturing or scrap metal Other Requirements Based in Belfast with travel to sites across Northern Ireland Full UK driving licence For further information on this job, apply via the link or contact the VANRATH office for a confidential chat today.
