Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Litigation Associate (4+ PQE) to join a highly regarded London disputes team, recognised by both Chambers & Partners and Legal 500.
The team acts on high-value domestic and international disputes, regularly opposing leading US, Magic Circle and established City firms. Clients include private equity funds, listed and privately owned companies, HNWIs, investors and professional services businesses.
You will advise on a broad range of complex disputes, including:
- Shareholder, partnership and joint venture disputes
- Contract and breach of warranty claims
- Civil fraud
- Professional negligence
- Intellectual property disputes
- Insolvency-related litigation
- Asset recovery and protection
- Competition and antitrust litigation.
The team has extensive experience before the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court, as well as in international arbitration proceedings, including ICC and LCIA matters. Associates also gain exposure to mediation and other forms of ADR.
You will have:
- 4+ years' PQE in commercial litigation
- Strong technical and drafting skills
- Experience handling complex disputes
- Excellent client management and communication skills
- A proactive and commercially minded approach.
