Solutions Architect

Salary: £48,000 – 88,000 per year

Requirements

• Bachelors in computer science or similar
• Certifications in security such as CISSP, TOGAF, CCSP
• Experience with ITIL4
• Proficient in solution design and modeling tools
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks
• Expertise in cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of virtualization and networking
• Experience with cyber security tools
• Proven track record in designing and delivering complex technology solutions in security
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Must be SC cleared or able to obtain SC and eventually DV clearance

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end security solutions that meet client needs
• Develop detailed architecture diagrams and technical specifications
• Create implementation plans to guide solution delivery
• Respond to customer RFIs and RFPs with detailed technical proposals
• Understand business requirements, technical challenges, and security considerations
• Collaborate with sales, project management, and engineering teams
• Lead workshops and presentations to showcase solutions and gain stakeholder buy-in
• Identify and evaluate security posture and compliance to ensure regulatory standards
• Oversee solutions implementations and integrations
• Provide technical oversight and support throughout implementation
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for innovation and enhancements
• Mentor and coach team members
