We’re partnering with an ambitious fintech scale-up entering a major growth phase as it expands its product offering and invests heavily in technology, AI, and customer experience.
This isn’t a role for someone who simply wants to build features.
We’re looking for an engineer who wants to help shape products, influence technical direction, contribute to business outcomes, and play a key role in how a scaling engineering organisation evolves.
As one of the early senior hires, you’ll work closely with engineering leadership, product, design, and AI specialists to build customer-facing platforms that make complex financial journeys faster, simpler, and more transparent.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and scaling modern frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and Next.js
- Taking ownership of key product areas from concept through delivery
- Collaborating closely with Product and Design to shape user experiences and influence roadmap decisions
- Helping define frontend architecture, engineering standards, and best practices
- Exploring and championing practical uses of AI across both products and engineering workflows
- Contributing to technical strategy as the business grows and scales its engineering capability
- Acting as a collaborative senior voice within a small, high-impact team
We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Has strong commercial experience with React, TypeScript, Next.js, and modern frontend development
- Enjoys working closely with Product, Design, and non-technical stakeholders
- Thinks beyond implementation and cares about customer outcomes
- Can demonstrate influence on product direction, user experience, or business decisions
- Is excited by AI and can identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies in meaningful ways
- Thrives in scale-up environments where ownership and initiative are expected
- Wants to help shape a growing engineering culture rather than simply work within one
- Has genuine curiosity about fintech, lending, and the challenges of modern financial products
