Court of Protection Solicitor, 6+ Years PQE, Birmingham, £80,000+ (DOE)

THE ROLE

• Act for vulnerable individuals across the UK who cannot manage their own financial affairs due to lack of mental capacity.
• Play an integral role in supporting clients and their families while managing a varied caseload.
• Work predominantly on high‑value personal injury and clinical negligence cases involving protected parties.
• Build strong relationships with clients, family members, case managers, deputies, and other professionals, delivering a compassionate and client‑focused service.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Minimum of 6 years PQE as a Court of Protection Solicitor.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional client care and building trusted client relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive matters professionally.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a demanding and varied workload.
• Meticulous attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team while managing personal caseload effectively.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and genuine passion for Court of Protection work.
