Site Operations Lead – Bolt Pharmacy, Blackburn, England

This is a full‑time, fully on‑site role. Report to Rich Hannibal, UK General Manager. Work with Phuong Nguyen (Superintendent Pharmacist), Mashal Mamoon (Dispensing Lead), Tanvir Ahmed (Founder’s Associate).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver operational plans flawlessly and take full accountability for day‑to‑day site performance.
• Be a culture vector: set standards, lead from the front, enforce high standards.
• Lead deployment of new products, technology, and automation at the site.
• Forecast, labour‑plan, manage performance and set the tone for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• ≥5 years of on‑site ops leadership in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Track record of building strong, capable teams during rapid growth.
• Data‑driven mindset with proven use of metrics to drive decisions.
• Strong performance management skills, ability to retain high performers and address underperformance.
• Integrity, ownership, and a low tolerance for mediocrity.
• Organised, detail‑oriented, and able to build simple systems to accelerate operations.
• Comfortable collaborating with senior leadership.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a high‑growth startup or scale‑up.
• Regulated environment experience.
• Systems thinking and AI‑native tool usage.
• Doer attitude, ability to take ownership beyond defined roles.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Compensation & Benefits
