Job Description
As a Senior Consultant within our Applied AI practice, you will be driving the definition, design and delivery of AI solutions across a range of clients and industries. You will work from early‑stage strategy and definition, helping clients to identify and analyse options, build business cases and transform their operating models; from running proofs of concept to building AI solutions for production. Bringing a broad understanding of AI, you will challenge, inspire, and steer discussions, helping to translate clients’ business strategies into concrete initiatives, use cases, and measurable value. You will help orchestrate multidisciplinary teams of domain experts, designers, data and AI specialists, and solution architects toward shared, impactful outcomes. This is an exciting role for a technically minded consultant with the opportunity to work with leading engineers to deliver the value enterprises are demanding from AI.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a consultant, with a proven capability to excel in a range of project and client environments.
- Experience working with engineering teams, building and delivering technical products, and a working knowledge of technical concepts relevant to enterprise solutions.
- Passion for AI, with experience adopting AI into your work and delivering AI solutions into businesses. A positive curiosity balanced with a critical awareness of risks and limitations of AI.
- Comfortable communicating about AI and technology concepts, informed by consistent research and hands‑on experience.
- Natural problem solver, strong analytical capacity, and ability to build knowledge in new areas quickly.
- Ability to produce high‑quality deliverables with attention to detail, telling a story and guiding clients through documents or presentations.
- Adaptable nature, willing to apply skills to a range of tasks and environments, and comfortable helping to build the business while delivering for clients.
- Ambitious consultant with a desire to work in a growth‑stage company and the commitment to deliver fantastic outcomes for clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Work on a broad range of engagements with enterprise clients, collaborating with client and vector8 teams to deliver innovative, business‑impacting AI solutions.
- Own work streams, with accountability for deliverables such as option analyses, business cases, PRDs, roadmaps, and POCs for AI solutions vector8 is delivering.
- Engage with client stakeholders up to the C‑suite across business and technology divisions, bringing clarity and common language to drive decisions and outcomes.
- Work with vector8 engineering teams to define, design, build, and assure AI solutions for real client problems, ensuring the right solution is built, adopted, and delivers value.
- Run and facilitate meetings with the client, bringing structure and rigor to engagements, while providing advice and guidance to client decision‑making with data and domain expertise.
- Collaborate with client and vector8 SMEs to align design with desired business outcomes.
- Contribute to business development, identifying opportunities at existing clients and forming proposals for new engagements.
- Help build the vector8 consulting practice by developing tools, methods, and ways of working across Europe as we grow.
