We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Practitioner for a secondment/fixed term Safeguarding Lead position within the Norfolk Safeguarding Team. The role involves providing safeguarding support, training and supervision to Trust staff.
The successful candidate will be based in the North locality and must be able to travel independently across Norfolk, both rural and urban. A full and current driving licence, and own transport, are required.
Responsibilities
- Provide safeguarding support, training and supervision to Trust staff.
- Work as part of the locality leadership team.
- Participate in the Norfolk Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) health team.
- Support the wider safeguarding children’s team across all specialist children’s services within the Trust.
- Travel independently across Norfolk on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of children’s safeguarding is essential.
- Ability to work flexibly and travel across Norfolk.
- Full and current driving licence with access to own transport.
- Compliance with Equality Act 2010 and provision for reasonable adjustments.
