Proactive Housing Outreach Officer

Ashfield District Council is looking for an Assertive Outreach Officer in Kirkby-in-Ashfield to join the Housing Options Team. This role involves working closely with homeless households or those facing urgent housing needs by identifying their support requirements and assisting them in securing settled accommodation.

The successful candidate will perform needs assessments, create action plans, and provide direct support throughout the housing process, including assisting individuals with tenancy responsibilities. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders are essential.
