Salary: £40,000 – 40,000 per year
Requirements
- We require strong experience within a Managed Service Provider environment in a 3rd Line or Project Engineering capacity.
- We require hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Azure AD / Entra ID.
- We require experience supporting Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
- We require solid knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.
- We require strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and switching fundamentals.
- We require experience with virtualisation technologies and virtual machines such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
- We require knowledge of storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- We require PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
- We require experience using ConnectWise, PSA, or RMM tools within an MSP.
- We require excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work directly with clients.
- We require a full UK driving licence.
- We would also value experience delivering cloud migrations and infrastructure projects.
- We would also value exposure to Ubiquiti / UniFi networking technologies.
- We would also value an understanding of cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection.
- We would also value previous experience mentoring junior engineers or assisting with escalations.
Responsibilities
- We support escalated infrastructure issues as part of our technical team.
- We assist with the delivery of cloud and infrastructure projects.
- We work across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and virtualised environments.
- We support a predominantly cloud‑based client base.
- We deliver Azure migrations.
- We deploy Azure Virtual Desktop solutions.
- We carry out server upgrades.
- We deliver networking projects.
- We mentor junior engineers within our service desk function.
- We work directly with clients to provide technical support and project delivery.
