Senior Frontend Engineer

Senior Frontend Engineer – Up to £80k – Bank

We’re working with a growing fintech business building a sophisticated investment reporting platform used by asset managers ranging from boutique firms to global institutions.

They’re expanding their frontend team and looking for a Senior Engineer to help shape and scale a suite of data-driven, client-facing products.

The role

This is a high-impact position in a small, collaborative team where frontend is core to the product.

You’ll be:

• Building modern web applications and reusable components
• Working closely with stakeholders across the business
• Contributing to frontend architecture and roadmap decisions
• Helping define how products are built, not just what gets built
• Mentoring junior engineers and driving technical standards
• Strong React experience (modern patterns)
• Experience building complex, client-facing web apps from scratch
• Strong understanding of web fundamentals and performance
• Product mindset and high attention to detail

Nice to have

• Experience with data-heavy or financial platforms
• Exposure to Python / Django environments
• Small, high-performing team with real ownership
• Opportunity to shape frontend direction and product evolution

Package

• Salary: up to £80,000
• Location: Bank (hybrid)
