Data Protection Manager

Suits Me is a fast-growing fintech providing e-money accounts and payment services to thousands of customers across the UK. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a talented Data Protection Manager to join our team and help shape the future of our privacy and data protection function.

Working alongside our current external DPO provider, you’ll gain hands‑on experience across all aspects of data protection before ultimately taking ownership of the function and becoming Suits Me’s appointed Data Protection Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on UK GDPR and data protection compliance.
• Conduct DPIAs and privacy risk assessments.
• Support data subject rights requests and breach management.
• Maintain privacy governance frameworks and records.
• Deliver privacy training and awareness activities.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to embed privacy by design.

About You

• Around 3–5 years’ experience in data protection, privacy or compliance.
• Strong knowledge of UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive and commercially minded approach.
• Financial services, fintech or regulated sector experience would be advantageous
