- Lead best practices in:

Platform & Tooling
- Build reusable tooling and frameworks that enable teams to:

- serve their own data products confidently
- Partner closely with:
- data scientists
- machine learning engineers
- Improve and evolve the overall data infrastructure
- Experiment with emerging technologies
- Explore open-source tools
- Engage with the broader tech community
- Help keep Prima at the cutting edge
What we’re looking for
Software & Data Engineering
- Strong expertise in Python
- Passion for writing:
- clean
- reliable
- production-grade code
Distributed Data Processing
- Experience building and operating:
- batch processing systems
- distributed data systems
- near real-time streaming pipelines
- Familiarity with:
- Kafka
- Flink
- Spark
- Databricks experience is a strong plus
Databases & Data Warehousing
- Comfortable working with:
- RDBMS
- data warehousing solutions
- Strong understanding of data modelling aligned with business needs
Reliability & DevOps
- Experience with:
- CI/CD pipelines
- testing practices for data systems
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as:
- Terraform
- CloudFormation
- Thrive in collaborative environments
- Comfortable stepping beyond your scope when needed
- Strong sense of ownership and team spirit
Nice-to-Have
Data Governance & Quality
- Hands-on experience with:
- Data Quality
- Data Governance practices
- Familiarity with modelling approaches such as:
- Star Schema
- OBT
- Knowledge of modern architectures:
- Medallion
- Lambda
- Kappa
- Experience building or contributing to cloud-based data platforms
- AWS preferred
