Senior Developer

Salary: £65,000 – 75,000 per year

Requirements

• Proven experience as a .NET Developer with a desire to transition to Node.js, or existing experience working with Node.js and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in backend development with a focus on JavaScript, Node.js, and GCP.
• Familiarity with tools and technologies such as GraphQL, MongoDB, Docker, CI/CD, React, Tailwind, Next.js, and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong coding skills, with an emphasis on writing clear, quality, tested, and well‑documented code.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain code while ensuring high standards in quality and documentation.
• Manage and support multiple services across various environments.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies to enhance skill sets.
• Primarily focus on backend development, with opportunities to gain exposure to frontend technologies.

About the role

We are witnessing significant growth within our new Software Engineering function in Southampton, and we are excited to welcome a Senior Developer to our expanding team. With our recent investment, we are poised for further development, and our office is located conveniently on the outskirts of Southampton. We offer a hybrid working model, allowing for three days a week in the office. The salary for this role can go up to £75,000, complemented by benefits such as 25 days of holiday, bonuses, and pension contributions.
