Job Role: UX Designer
Location: Manchester, UK
About the Job you are considering: We are looking for a skilled UX Designer to craft intuitive, user-centered digital experiences that drive engagement and usability. You should be experienced in translating user insights into effective design solutions, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams, and continuously improving experiences through testing and feedback.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role:
- UX design process from discovery to delivery across multiple projects
- Mentor and guide a team of UXUI designers fostering a culture of creativity collaboration and continuous improvement
- Conduct and oversee user research, usability testing and data analysis to inform design decisions
- Translate complex business requirements into user-centric design solutions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows and high‑fidelity mock‑ups
- Advocate for design best practices, accessibility standards and user‑centered design principles
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers and other stakeholders to align on vision and execution
- Present and communicate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders at all levels
- Stay current with industry trends, tools and technologies to continuously elevate the UX practice
Your Skills
- Strong portfolio showcasing user‑centered design solutions across web and mobile platforms
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar
- Deep understanding of UX research methods, interaction design and information architecture
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in agile environments and cross‑functional teams
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and frontend development is a plus
