Key Responsibilities

The post holder will provide electrical services to meet the needs of the board’s healthcare facilities, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of patient care through the delivery of a planned maintenance, repair and installations service that represents quality and value for money.

• Maintain plant, equipment and service infrastructure within the board’s hospitals and premises.
• Deliver all works to relevant legislation and standards, including STHM 06 01 Parts A & B, 06‑01 & 06‑03.
• Assist in the development of the estates function into a customer‑focused range of services, leading a flexible, integrated approach to the delivery of estates services.

Qualifications & Requirements

• PVG Scheme membership or record with a satisfactory completion of the required criminal record check. If not already a member, an application must be made to Disclosure Scotland and must be deemed satisfactory before appointment.
• Legal permission to work in the United Kingdom, as required by the UK Visa and Immigration Service.
• Experience in electrical maintenance within a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
• Ability to work part‑time, with salary paid pro‑rata.
