Role Description
The FMCG Field Engineer role is a full-time, on‑site position based in the United Kingdom. The Field Engineer will carry out installation, maintenance, and repairs of packaging machinery and systems at client sites. Daily responsibilities include conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting technical issues, collaborating with clients to identify and address their technical needs, and ensuring systems operate efficiently. The role requires maintaining a high level of customer service and clear communication with stakeholders regarding technical solutions and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Technical expertise in machinery installation, maintenance, and repairs, particularly in FMCG and packaging equipment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and problem-solving technical issues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members on‑site.
- Adaptability to travel frequently and manage time effectively to meet client needs within specified deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Relevant certifications or a degree/diploma in Engineering, Mechanical Systems, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in FMCG or a packaging-related industry is advantageous.
