Responsibilities

  • Provide a technical service to customers, including maintenance and repair of Ricoh Graphic Communication, Print products and Pre and Post Processing equipment, ensuring service levels are met.
  • Handle installation and de‑installation of Ricoh Graphic Communication products, meeting project milestones and keeping customers updated on progress.
  • Escalate technical problems through the Service processes to minimise equipment downtime.
  • Maximise revenue by identifying additional business and professional service opportunities, reporting them through the correct channels.
  • Support the management of business relationships with customers and end users to maximise satisfaction.
  • Manage vehicle and account stock to improve first‑time fix levels and minimise stock losses.
  • Work out of hours and shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as the business requires.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Field Technician role, preferably within the Production Print sector.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of the full range of RGC product range.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and proven fault‑finding technique.
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical/mechanical engineering.
  • Skilled in the use of electronic diagnostic tools.
  • Good product knowledge.
  • Ability to read and understand complex mechanical instructions.
  • IT literate and networking capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer‑handling skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Company Service procedures.
