Analysis Engineer – Composites (Banbury, Oxfordshire, On Site)
Responsibilities
As an Analysis Engineer you will join a small, highly effective team of experienced engineers. You will be involved in the design, development and analysis of structural composite components using first principles, hand calculations and finite element analysis. This includes developing new models, engaging in hands‑on testing, validating results, and feeding iterative improvements back into design and development.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong foundation in engineering mathematics, solid mechanics and stress analysis.
- Ability to analyse and solve new engineering problems using first principles and hand calculations.
- Experience with Matlab, Python or Excel for numerical modelling is highly beneficial.
- Experience in Finite Element software – desirable.
- Some knowledge of composite materials would be highly beneficial.
- Highly motivated with a keen ability to take initiative.
- Willingness to take a hands‑on approach to problem solving, development and testing methods.
- Clear, open two‑way communication skills.
