Building Transformation is a niche external building fabric access and maintenance company based in Bedford, working predominantly in the Southeast. We are looking for an experienced Roof Repair & Maintenance Engineer with experience of planned and reactive roofing works across a range of systems, including flat, felt, single-ply, and pitched roofs.

Your role at a glance
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll deliver high‑quality roof maintenance, inspections, and repairs across a range of client sites.
You will
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across a variety of roofing systems.
- Diagnose and resolve roofing defects, leaks, and failures effectively.
- Undertake roof inspections and condition surveys, recording findings clearly.
- Complete general repairs including patching, sealing, flashing, and minor refurbishments.
- Work safely at height using appropriate access equipment and in line with health & safety standards.
- Communicate professionally with clients on‑site, providing clear updates on work carried out.
- Identify and report additional defects or opportunities for further works.
- Maintain accurate job records, reports, and completion documentation.
- Work closely with internal teams to support service delivery and follow‑on work.

Desirable (but not essential)
- Relevant health & safety or access certifications (e.g. Working at Height, PASMA, IPAF)
