Responsibilities
- Proactively deliver engineering tasks received, including maintenance and service visits to food factories, RDCs, and warehouses for a variety of equipment; this includes Recip, Scroll, and Screw compressor packs and installations of Ammonia, CO2, and HFC/HFOs.
- Carry out service and reactive breakdown cover during normal working hours, and support out-of-hours work as part of a standby rota.
- Observe internal and client support functions to meet the requirements and objectives of customers and the business.
- Ensure engineering tasks received are supported with appropriate commercial awareness and business system compliance at all times.
- Maintain responsibility for the quality of each engineering task, ensuring all practices are followed according to contract responsibilities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Knowledge of the industrial refrigeration engineering services sector and the expectations of industrial refrigeration customers.
- Demonstrable technical competencies and certificates relevant to required skills, e.g., 2079 refrigerant handling, ACRIB, and Ammonia.
- Successfully completed a recognised training course or apprenticeship in industrial refrigeration.
- Good base knowledge of maintenance and service duties on medium to large industrial applications.
- Experience in large central plant technical diagnosis and fault-finding for various installations, including refrigeration compressors such as Grasso, Sabroe, J&E Hall, GEA, and Mycom.
