Area Traffic Engineer: Safe Streets & Local Plans

Newcastle City Council is looking for a dedicated Area Engineer for Traffic Management to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists through effective traffic management strategies and local transport plans.

Your work will make a direct impact on the community’s streets, developing safer and more efficient traffic solutions. You will work closely with schools, residents, and stakeholders, fostering collaboration to create safer journeys for future generations.
