Social Worker (Supporting and Strengthening Families)
Salary: £39,152 to £47,181 pa (Career Grade, with retention payments, subject to review in March 2028).
Responsibilities
- Work within a small team, receiving strong guidance and oversight.
- Identify and build upon the strengths of families.
- Support families to ensure the safety of the care arrangements for their children.
- Apply relational and restorative practice principles to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people.
Qualifications and Progression
Social workers who are not yet progressed will be supported through the career progression framework, with the opportunity to complete a progression portfolio and access post‑qualifying training.
