Your Role As a Support Worker
You will play a key role in delivering person-centred care and support. You’ll empower individuals to live independently while ensuring their safety, dignity, and wellbeing at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support tailored to individual needs
- Support with daily living activities, including cooking, cleaning, and shopping
- Assist with personal care where required
- Help individuals access the community, attend appointments, and participate in activities
- Encourage independence and promote choice and dignity
- Administer medication (following training)
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver high-quality care
- Act as a Key Worker, supporting care planning and goal setting
What We’re Looking For
- A caring, positive, and patient attitude
- Passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, or autism
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends
- A full UK driving licence (desirable, not essential)
- Previous care experience is helpful—but full training is provided
